Ik heb de training “Pedagogisch tact voor OOP: goed contact met leerlingen” gevolgd via de HOA. Ik vond de training erg leerzaam en ook zeker geschikt voor docenten. Sjoerd kan heel goed gedrag/ signalen omschrijven van leerlingen, en hoe je daar zelf op een fijne manier mee om kan gaan vanuit je eigen gevoel. Daar weet Sjoerd wel raad mee.

Ik heb via de Haagse Onderwijs Academie de training "Pedagogisch Tact" gevolgd, gegeven door Sjoerd. Ik vond de cursus interessant, vooral t 2e deel. Het was leuk dat je het 2e deel ook had uitgewerkt voor een oop-er in de keuken/kantine, dan alleen iemand die in de klas staat. Hierdoor kan ik veel meenemen om een gesprek aan te gaan met leerlingen die het nodig hebben. Voor de docenten zelf zou dit ook een mooie cursus zijn.
For the 9 months that I had Sjoerd as my coach, I feel as though I have made a lot of progress in terms of productivity, reducing procrastination, organisation, and stress management during that time. Sjoerd worked very cohesively with me and made a safe space for me to bring up the problems mentioned before. Sjoerd was very flexible with my schedule; we had weekly meetings, mostly in person but also sometimes online. I now do not feel the need of a coach anymore.
Thanks to his natural empathy, attentive listening, flexibility, and open-mindedness, he created a safe and stimulating environment. The changes were rapid and profound: our child gained proactivity, self-confidence and self-esteem again. Sjoerd pointed out clearly what needed to focus and worked with our child as a team based on trust, responsibility and respect with eachother. Sjoerd combines kindness and professionalism, which made all the difference in his development. A big thank you for his precious support!
He was able to accurately analyse the needs and limitations of the students, taking into account their individual characteristics. His ability to observe and interpret behavioural manifestations was appreciated, as it allowed for a better understanding of the students as a whole. This approach promotes a more nuanced understanding of behaviours and contributes to appropriate and consistent educational support within the school. His expertise is put to good use for the benefit of children, with whom he knows how to establish a relationship of trust and security within a firm and caring environment.
